Red Knot, Stratford 5/26

5/26  Stratford, Short Beach Park, 5:30 pm (dead low tide) - On sand flats of Housatonic River, one banded RED KNOT with orange leg flag on left tibia.  Also 18 Black-bellied Plovers, 2 Am. Oystercatchers, 65 Herring Gulls, and lots of wading hot human bathers.  (90 degrees today).  Surprisingly no terns seen.
