I just spotted a Cave Swallow from the platform at the east end of the De Laurier Trail in PPNP while guiding a group birding tour. It was foraging over the marsh to the east of us and drifted south out of view. Be careful if searching, there are still Tree Swallows and probably Barn and Northern Rough-winged in the area.

De Laurier trail is located about 4km south of the entrance of Point Pelee National Park, at the end of Point Pelee Drive, southeast of Leamington in Essex County.

Good birding,
Jeremy Bensette
