Music Fans, The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra has several great performances coming up if you're interested in some live music. Monday Nov. 16th we'll be performing at Zig Zag Cafe in Seattle WA. I'll be joined by Greg Feingold on bass and Jacques Willis on drums. 8pm to 10:30pm, 21+, no cover charge. Wednesday Nov. 20th I'll be performing at the Seatac International Airport. 11:30am to 1pm in the central concourse. If you're traveling, come say hello. Thursday Nov. 21st we'll be performing at The Museum of Glass in Tacoma WA. The concert will feature members of The Northwest Sinfonietta and The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra. We'll be performing original compositions of mine that have been arranged for jazz quartet with strings and while the music is being performed live glass artists will be doing glass blowing in the hot shop. 6pm, all ages welcome, no cover charge. Sunday Nov. 24th we'll be performing at O'Malley's in Tacoma WA for our monthly jazz brunch series. I'll be joined by Mason Hargrove on guitar, Osama Afifi on bass, and Jacques Willis on drums. 11am to 1pm, 21+, no cover charge. Sunday Nov. 24th we'll be performing at Eleven Winery on Bainbridge Island. I'll be joined by Paul Gabrielson on bass and Jacques Willis on drums. 2pm to 5pm, all ages welcome, no cover charge. Sunday Nov. 30th we'll be performing a special holiday concert in downtown Tacoma for the annual Tacoma tree lighting ceremony. The concert will take place in the Tacoma KNKX studios where there will be self guided tours, refreshments, and of course, live music. I'll be joined by Greg Feingold on bass and Adam Kessler on drums. 4:30pm to 6pm, all ages welcome, no cover charge.
