Ahoy Listees:
We are Charles and Janene Witt. Our boat the River Pelican II is a 1986
Senator 35.  She is powered by a 6.354 Perkins and has a 7.5 kw genset. We
bought her in Dayton Beach this past January, and have been doing some minor
up-grades on her. We both just retired in June, and our goal is to take
about 2 years off and do the Loop. We live between Mobile, AL and Pensacola,
FL on a river they call the Styx. Our river dumps into the Perdido Bay at
the very north end. Our boat dog is a rat terrier named Skeeter. He loves
boating just about as much as I do, and boating is a passion with me. We
belong to the MTOA and the CHB Owners group. I  hope this winter to head
over to New Orleans and on over to Paterson, LA. to visit with the Culottas.
We had a chance to meet Charles and Pat while they were on there way through
Mobile on there Alabama River trip and really enjoyed their company. We have
found that there are a lot of very nice folks on the water cruising on
trawlers. When in the Mobile/Pensacola area let us know and we would love to
show you what they call "Southern Hospitality".

Happy Cruising
