At 12:30, a 2nd LITTLE GULL in water at Lordship Seawall. Short Beach -- 5:45 PM; Adult LITTLE GULL (winter plumage) sitting on water with gull flock offshore, leeward side of Lordship peninsula. Make that 2 Little Gull, if not 3. Short Beach (Dorne Drive) -- 5:40-6:30 PM; 4 LITTLE GULLS (Stefan Martin, others & I counted 3 basic-plumaged adults plus one 1st-winter) among about 300 Bonaparte's and 5000 Ring-billed Gulls. They were on the water and on the beach, apparently all resting from the relentless west wind. Add to this the dark-headed adult LITTLE GULL seen earlier by many off the Lordship Seawall.
