Hi Ethereal!
We will be hosting an ACE reception to for ACE partners to meet and network very soon. Stay tuned for that.
The best way to get an event booked is to email Allyson and I, as early as you have an idea and a time frame.
Glad to have you joining the roster!

Awesome, we are so excited.
We would love a chance to meet the fellow entrepreneurs who just joined. After the chaos for gig workers at Halloween settles, would a meet and greet event for this be possible?
I did have one question about booking for productions/events.
If we wanted to bring more Ethereal Chaos shows to the event space, would emailing be the best way to start or is there a way on our profile to process that request and start the communication?
Lastly, I would be interested in shadowing!
Thank you so much; we are looking forward to this blossoming into growth and some great collaborations
Warmly,
Ethereal

Greetings ACE Partners,
We are thrilled to see the continual growth of the program, with new ACE Partners signing on, representing the groundswell of innovative BIPOC and women creative entrepreneurs in the South Sound. We love to see how your creativity and dedication are taking root here in the Armory with Tacoma Arts Live. From clever events to rehearsals, meetings, podcasting, photoshoots and office use, we are honored you have found a home here.
For those I have not yet had the opportunity to meet in person, my name is Tony Gómez. I'm the Chief Engagement Officer and a founding designer of ACE. I look forward to meeting everyone and am always open if you would like to schedule a meeting.
On behalf of your ACE team, including Allyson Turk, Senior Manager of Community Engagement, and Eli Blodgett, ACE Program Coordinator, I'm very excited to share with you some exciting improvements and expansions that will help you to realize your creative and entrepreneurial visions.
NEW SPACES!
ACE has expanded its footprint in the Armory. In addition to Suites 4B and 5A, we now occupy Suite 15, which includes multiple meeting and work rooms and can also function as a rehearsal and small event space. The Alberta Canada Conference Room has migrated down to Suite 15, which is at the south end of the downstairs hallway.
NEW ACCESS!
We've added a keypad at the lower doors on S. 11th so now you can use your code to enter the building from Nollmeyer on the north side or S. 11th on the south side. Plus, we've added a universal code of "2024" to open Suites 15, 16 and the existing ACE suites. Please keep this and your personal code private.
MORE FREE EVENT SPACE!
Suite 15, along with the upstairs rehearsal space, Suite 16, and the meeting/rehearsal space, Suite 1 are now free for you to use for rehearsals, meetings, etc. That means no more occupancy fees. Of course, if you are holding a public event, you'll still need to budget for staffing and custodial at discounted rates. Allyson, Eli or I can help you plan. Plus, as a reminder, ACE Partners always get insider pricing to produce events in the premium public spaces of the Armory - the Parade Floor, Roosevelt Room, etc.
MORE EVENT CO-PRODUCTION OPPORTUNITIES!
You also have multiple options for help to produce your events. We can advise, you can access free and low-cost facilities at the Armory, and you can propose co-productions where ACE helps cover the costs of your events. Formal co-production application form to come! Recent examples include the Soul Food Festival, the Threaded fashion event, and the Lemon Sessions. If you have a proposal, we want to hear it!
NEW & RETURNING SERVICES!
New! Office Hours - We'll be working with professionals in finance, licensing, marketing and more to provide office hours where you can access some of the same experts from workshops for your individual needs.
New! Meet the Artists - Exclusive mixers, closed door rehearsals and sessions with touring artists from the Tacoma Arts Live season! Your opportunity to connect with national and international touring BIPOC & women creatives.
New! Event Shadowing - Up your event production knowledge by shadowing the producers, box office staff and other event professionals that put on the Tacoma Arts Live performance season. Paid stipends to learn in real life productions!
Workshops - Our workshop series will be back with in-person and virtual options. Keep an eye out for a survey landing soon to make requests for workshop topics.
1:1 Consults & Business Planning - Set a time with Allyson to take a deep dive on your business project
Please feel free to contact Allyson, Eli or myself with any questions you may have. We are thrilled to be your partners in realizing your creative vision, and are thankful that you help enliven the Armory as a hub for arts, culture and community along the way.
In appreciation,
Tony
