Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to be able to announce the publication of Volume 43, the special volume on Liao, of the Journal of Song-Yuan Studies.  At present the IEAS at Berkeley does not have the order form for Volume 43 on line, but that will be fixed.  I also will send around a PDF version in a separate note.

Yours truly,

Michael

Dear Colleagues:

I wonder whether anyone else has experienced this problem?  I tried to
order JSYS the old fashioned way by mailing in separate order forms for Vol
43 and for back issues.  But both envelopes were returned as "not
deliverable."  I used the address on the order form:
Institute of East Asian Studies
Publication Department
1995 University Ave, Ste 520N
Berkeley, CA 74720-2318

Upon an internet search, I noticed something strange.  Google gives the
correct zip code as "94704," where as the Institute of East Asian Studies
lists it as "94720-2318" on its own website.  And of course, "94720-2318"
is the zip code for the old Fulton Street address.  I am going to e-mail
the Institute to ask about this and see what the correct zip code is, but
thought I should alert everyone else about this as well.

All the best,

Xiao-bin

Colleagues-

Just yesterday Columbia University Press let me know that my new book, Emperor Wu Zhao and her Pantheon of Devis, Divinities, and Dynastic Mothers, was now available, and urged me to alert different academic communities

"The webpage for your book is:
http://cup.columbia.edu/book/emperor-wu-zhao-and-her-pantheon-of-devis-divinities-and-dynastic-mothers/9780231169387"

"Anyone who uses the promo code "ROTEMP" to buy the book from this site will receive a 30% discount off the price of the book."

Thank you,

N. Harry Rothschild
