Hi,

I feel like I'm about to ordermachined aluminium front plates for this
[1] enclosure (Proma, aluminium, 8,55€ excl. shipping). The enclosure
itself is about 9.5mm longer than it should be -- but that can be solved
with a little patience and a metal saw.

Point is that the individual front plate is relatively cheap, but setup
and shipping make things expensive [2]. Delivery would take 5-7 working
day.s.
For one pair of front/back plates the cost is 39.15€ incl. everything
[3], but for 5 only 83.87€ [4], which is ~16€/pair. If we can arrange to
order ten, we'd be down to 12.90€.

So here's my approach: I'd like to order by next Friday (2015-06-12,
15:00 UTC), iff I can find another 4 people to join me. For your own
verification: Files are here[5], and a screen shot of the design for
those who don't want to download and run Target3000 under wine is
here[6]. Generally, if someone else finds using Target less stressfull
than I am, or has experience and says "that can be easily improved", I'm
all open for suggestions/revisions.

Lightpipes: The B210/B200 can use 6/4 light pipes of this type. Last
time, I ordered one too little. Assuming that I'm not the only one
wanting these:
[7], 1€ a piece, so 1,20€ incl. taxes. Shipping is 6€ with Farnell, and
I'm just going to split that among all that join my order there evenly.
So worst case, you're the only one wanting light pipes, and you want
exactly one, so then it's a 4,20€ light pipe.

Regarding shipping to you: standard Deutsche Post letter should do, so
1,45€ for people in Germany, 3,50€ for recipient in the rest of the EU.

Anyone interested?

Greetings,
Marcus

I guess this is for the new (green) B210?

I have the old (white) one, and I have similar plans, using the Hammond case 1455L1602.

Ralph.

Yes, you're right, I forgot to mention: for the green B210.
Still leaves the question open whether you want some light pipes :D
By the way: for single-quantity front plates I found schaeffer-ag.de to
be cheaper, and also, they have multi-platform software that doesn't
make your skin crawl usability-wise.

Best regards,
Marcus

My idea was to let a colleague mill the thing during lunch break, and then publish the files :)

The enclosure itself is about 9.5mm longer than it should be -- but that can be solved with a little patience and a metal saw. Point is that the individual front plate is relatively cheap, but setup and shipping make things expensive [2]. Delivery would take 5-7 working day.s. For one pair of front/back plates the cost is 39.15€ incl. everything [3], but for 5 only 83.87€ [4], which is ~16€/pair. If we can arrange to order ten, we'd be down to 12.90€.

Ralph.
