Requiem for John Camm

I lost a friend today in John Camm.  We were brothers of the sea. He likely
has no cares nor fears; but I will shed my share of tears.

He didnt suffer fools.  Yet, he suffered me.  We will not drink rum together
this summer or even in this life, but I'll tip one for him this very night.
My loss, I think, now that John has crossed the sea.

Its time I leave the rest to a fellow that said it best.

Under the wide and starry sky
Dig the grave and let me lie:
Glad did I live and gladly die,
And I laid me down with a will.

This be the verse you grave for me:
Here he lies where he longd to be;
Home is the sailor, home from the sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.
Robert Lewis Stevenson
