Filter foam

I have crank vent units which were the original air seps on my engines. They utilize a foam filter on one half of the unit. I have never been able to find a replacement so I washed them out and reused them.
They are now beyond re use and I need to find some foam to make some new ones, I need a foam that is used in an atmosphere that is subject to being used to filter air coming from the breather of diesel engines and stand up to being saturated in oil.
Any suggested source, I need to make two and they will be cut out of foam 6”x6” at least three inch’s thick four inches would be better.

Tom,
I haven't really examined the OEM CAT foam that is used for my engine(s) intake filter - I just replace them. Two of them together might make the 4" your looking for. I'll be at the boat this weekend and can provide the part number and some pictures. Guessing they are 8"x 8" and about 2" thick - they see plenty of oil....

Let me know.

I found Airsepts(sp) for my 3208s’. They were a bolt on and can be cleaned. Very happy with them and feel OA should have made them standard as the foam was not good and could be sucked into the engine

Sent from my iPhone, spelling errors not my fault.
