Didn't it make you go through a circuitous registration process? It is
making me do so and promising a return e-mail with the key to downloading the
selected charts, but that e-mail never comes (yes, I checked the spam filter).
There appears to be no support available for troubleshooting but I understand
that considering the price.

REPLY
When I visited the site  when using a friend's DSL line,  he also found
the registration  routine a hassle, so he downloaded the files through
the back door, without bothering about the registration process.
The reply email finally arrived in my own email long after we had
already downloaded the chats.  It was then I discovered that I had not
downloaded the chart viewer program.

My friend (who is not a boater and thus not familiar with Match)
commented that the website did seem very clunky and his impression was
that the company didn't seem to know what they were doing.
I know that Match does know what they are doing so it is not clear why
they suddenly start to present themselves to the world as if they are
amateurs in website management. Very strange.

Jeff siegel, can you add any perspective to this new development.

I have absolutely no knowledge or understanding about what Maptech is doing
with this new web site and have no involvement with it in any way, shape, or
form.

At one point the site has a mark indicating that it was in BETA. I
would not get too excited about the clumsiness until they have had a
few weeks to iron out the bugs.
I have noticed in the past that eventually they get it right. In the
meantime...

I used it this morning with no problem. Site up, got one e-mail saying the
next one would have the location and instructions, second one did.
Downloaded with no problem, but haven't done anything with the file yet.
Will play with that tomorrow, to see if Nobeltec will use it, or another
viewer. Registered with real e-mail and fake snail-mail address, so their
junk mail will go to the black hole.
