At 11:00am Friday morning i was driving along Mull Rd between Stefina Line and Ed's Line when a short eared owl came out of the ditch beside me and landed back along the ditch a few meters away... local farm tells me it has been there for a couple days now.... it is very easy to spot... if you travel south from the Stefina (looking in the ditch to the east) it will likely take flight making it hard to miss. I stopped and viewed it 15 meters away as it tried to hide behind one foot tall evergreens...there was no hiding those yellow eyes Good Luck finding it.... Also look on the corner of Shewsburg and Green Line for a Rough Legged Hawk....
