Old Turnpike Road in Mansfield is a partially dirt road that  runs parallel
to US 44, starting half a mile east of Rt 195.  Where it  crosses the
Fenton River I have often found some interesting birds.  Today  there was a pair
of Northern Parulas, a pair of Pine Warbers, a Blue-gray  Gnatcatcher and a
Belted Kingfisher.
