Hi Stacy – I just saw the Barrow’s Goldeneye about an hour ago at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport. The bird was off to the eastern side of the park feeding with a decent sized flock of Common Goldeneye, about 1000 feet offshore. The water was a bit choppy so it took patience and a scope to see it and identify it.
