Scott et al,
We had a Parula at Greenwich Point, Sunday morning.

11/4 - Stratford, Boothe Park -- 1 BLUE-WINGED WARBLER, 1 NORTHERN PARULA
I see Charlie beat me to it on the Blue-winged! Definitely some rare birds
for November...as Charlie said, the Blue-winged is supposed to be gone in
September. A quick check of eBird shows no Blue-winged records in CT in
October, let alone November. There are plenty of Parula records in October
but none in November. I know a couple were seen in the last week though.
Both were in the area around the pond and foraging together. There may have
been another warbler skulking in the growth, but I had to run to class and
couldn't keep searching. Relatively quiet otherwise - except for the
Chipping sparrows, which were all over the place.
