Seeking help on Z3801A selftest error 512

Since a couple of days my Z3801A shows “Health … [ERROR]” and “Self Test: Err” in the status screen (upon sending “:syst:stat?”); evering else seems fine.

Closer analysis shows that “*TST?” returns +512, and ":stat:oper:hard:cond?" returns +1 (Selftest error).

Power cycle and “:syst:preset” do not change anything.

Does anybody have a clue what “+512” as a self test results means? Yes, bit 9, but in laymans terms?

TIA.
