From Nick Bonomo:

12/26 - Mystic, Enders Island -- RAZORBILL on the water to the south, in the
direction of Fishers Island
Waterford, Harkness SP -- female COMMON EIDER continues close to shore from
the point, 10 PURPLE SANDPIPERS
Groton, Avery Point -- first-winter GLAUCOUS GULL flew west across the
Thames River, PURPLE SANDPIPER

Surf Scoters were present in good numbers, with the highest count being 62
from Cornfield Pt in Old Saybrook. Common Loons were also present in good
numbers. Surprised not to run into any Rough-legged Hawks despite briefly
hitting some great habitat.
