Bernard,
I have been using my Macintosh PowerBook aboard nonstop for three years. It
is still going strong.
The computer is used primarily in the pilot house which does stay dry. We
have come from California through Panama, Florida and the Bahamas and almost
never use the AC unless tied to a dock so it has been exposed to plenty of
humidity.
