We are all in the same boat-own a boat, want a boat, had a boat.

For me at present-sleep is disturbed, Wife just came downstairs  in our dirt
dwelling looking tired, what's disturbing your sleep, I ask--the dogs been
sick, but is better now I wanted to defer the vet appointment--could be
that-"Its the boat" she said.

I'll not ask-what about the boat. Some will remember that I posted it on BST-I
have showed it twice. have some prospects lined up, a "unique passagemaker"
ready to go-I sold/selling my condo slip in Baltimore, to detatch the lines
that bind

On the other hand, I am painting, provisioning , buying the remaining spare
parts, getting charts and even more guideboods to VOYAGE not cruise, not
liveaboard and get this nearly 50 year old tune out of my head and done. Wife
is right, we do more cruising days and miles than 99% of boat owners and the
Bay with 3600 miles of shoreline leaves lots to be explored, She's right that
everything cruising is twice as hard and twice as expensive. Its not like you
open up the back door and let the dog go in the garden, Ya gotta, get the dink
down, find a place, watch for the wild dogs, I have even walked her with a
shotgun due to alligators, baracudas might, strike a swimming dog.

I know that I find peace on a boat underway, the hours of boredom seperated by
moments of fear.

So is she losing sleep because I am trying to sell the boat to avoid
Voyaging-or is she losing sleep because I intend to voyage?

One things for certain-its not gonna be tied to the dock any longer!!!!!!!
