Al,
Where do you buy NeverSeize?
Patrick
I've seen it at Scotty's, Walmart, Ace, Home Depot, and probably several
others. Even a local bicycle shop carries it, and I've seen it occasionally
in gun shops.
You can also make up a very close substitute by mixing heavy gear lube with
graphite powder. I've seen folks who needed it by the drum do that to save
money, and it has worked just as well as the store-bought item; but for most
of us, one four ounce container every ten or twenty years is all we need. A
little bit goes a very long way.

Never Seez is a anti seize compound made by Bostik. There are several
different blends of this product depending on the application. It may have
graphite in it. But the main ingrident that would repel barnicales is the
copper content. Simply mixixng grease and graphite will not work.
It is described as a anti-seize and extreme pressure lubricant formulated to
protect metal parts from rust , corrosion and siezure. Fine Mettallic and
graphite particles in a special grease.( generally a moly based formula)....
etc. Cannot be washed off by fresh or salt water and will remain after
extended exposure to the elements.
Fel-Pro makes a similiar product called C5-A that is a high copper content
product. This is what you will find in Wal -Mart and most auto stores that
carry Fel-Pro products.
Another source is bearing supply houses. Anyone who has rebuilt engines,
gas or diesel has used one of these products to coat the head bolts to get
the proper head bolt torque. Some large diesel repair shops may also sell
one of these products.
Hope this helps all who asked.

The one I used is by Bostik Anti Seize and Lubricating Compound in an
aerosol can, I can't read what is in it.
It sure worked here in tropical waters.
