Chubb Cay - Bahamas

Hi Roy

The last time I entered Chubb Cay was in December of 1995 but as I recollect
there was no problem of water depth going into the marina.  I draw just over 4
feet when loaded.  I was travelling with a Defever 44 drawing about 5 ft and
he also had no concerns entering.  Unless there has been some dramatic
shoaling etc., water depth shouldn't be a problem.  It is also very easy to
clear customs at Chubb Cay.

Also a number of boats anchor just off Chubb Cay overnight or longer before
heading on to Nassau.

Have a great trip

Note; If you have to spend the night in the bay before clearing Customs in
the morning do not offer that information to Customs.  We prefer to clear at
any other place because of their wise guy attitudes at Chubb.  The top of
the Berries is particularly nice place to clear customs.

Incidentally, anchoring in the bay can be a bouncy affair.
