San Blas to Key West

Yes. There is considerable E-W confusion here in this subject. Armchair
sailors are navigating with a tates!

Huh?  Isn't the Mona Passage between Hispaniola and Puerto  Rico?

If you go directly to Key West, or Grand Cayman, this  is a most

difficult passage, since you will be bucking into the trade  winds and
seas all of the way. I strongly advise against taking this  course. I
only know of a very limited number of boats which have made  this
passage, and the vast majority would not try it  again.
