I am currently a final year PhD candidate in the Center for China Studies, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. My supervisor is Professor John Lagerwey. I am interested in the Song-Yuan-Ming Confucianism, Daoism, and the unity of the three teachings. The PhD thesis I am now working on is to study the cultural and political authority in the fourteenth century, through the life and thought of Ming Taizu's major advisor, Song Lian (1310-1381).
