THIS WEEK IN TRI CLUB (OCTOBER 9-15) and GATOR FITNESS CHALLENGE WEEK 1
ROLL CALL! This serves as your weekly list of our club workouts and, for
the next 26 weeks, your opportunity to post any completed Gator Fitness
Challenge weekly challenges including the SBR Challenge (i.e. complete at
least 30 minutes of swimming AND cycling/spinning AND running), the SCF
Challenge (at least 30 minutes total of combined strength, core, and/or
flexibility workouts), and the Plank Challenge (the week 1 challenge was 15
seconds; this week's challenge is 30 seconds). If you completed the SBR
Challenge, the SCF Challenge, or the 15 week Plank Challenge, please post a
comment indicating which challenges you completed. Your results will be
added to our tracking sheet. A few notes: • Run Workout Change: For this
week only our run workout will take place on Tuesday instead of Monday. See
below for details. • Officer Nominations: Through TOMORROW/Tuesday, October
10 we are accepting nominations for our five officer positions on which we
will be holding an election for the 2024-25 term. Positions include
President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Youth Program
Director. If you are interested in nominating yourself or another Gator
(with their permission), please send an email to Kerri Brannen at

to stay fit through the gauntlet of holidays that will take place through
December. • The Gators Hoagiefest Club is underway! By attending club
workouts, participating in events, and posting to our Facebook group now
through December, you can earn "membership" into the Gators Hoagiefest Club
and an invite to our January Hoagiefest Club party! You can also earn
badges along the way. We're a bit late in getting it posted, but a "badge
claim" post will be coming very soon! • Our cycling is now indoors. On
Tuesday night at 7:15pm we start our weekly spin/strength workouts (we
postponed last week's session due to nice weather). On Thursday night at
8pm we continue our Zwift meetups. Also, this Thursday, October 12 at
6:30pm we continue the Gators Zwift Team Time Trial racing season! Please
contact Don Mack or David Stone for details about how to get started with
