Well it depends Bill.  I doubt my apartment #8227 411 Walnut St. , Green Cove Springs, Florida is in jeopardy. :).
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Call me paranoid, but handing a relative stranger a card with my home address on it when I am traveling thousands of miles from that address on a boat...well, doesn't that mean nobody is at that address watching out for all my household belongings...and...well, you get the picture.

If someone needs my home address, and I know why and I know them, I turn the card over and write the address on it.

Yup!  I am paranoid...

Well I must live right next to you as we are #4993 at 411 Walnut Street in GCS.
We were actually near Green Cove Springs two weeks ago and stopped in to say hi to the folks at St. Brennan's.  They have quite an operation.

We agree with Bill about not putting your home address on a boat card;
same reason. It's easy enough for someone to get your home address via
the internet with a little work, but at least it takes some extra effort.

We give out boat cards to a lot of people we don't know who simply want
to read our blog, see info about our boat, call us later, need a contact
number (a store, a marina, etc.).

Who knows where your boat card is going to end up?

BTW, same holds true for putting a lot of personal information in your
email signature! No reason to repeat your email address (it's already
there), or to add your cell phone numbers, home addresses, etc.
EVERYTHING on the internet is discoverable, including the content of
everything in your posts to email lists, blogs, and forums!
