Hello Gators, Last year’s Independence Triathlon seemed like the first time that the Gators had a dominant presence at an event. That should be the case again this year with over a dozen Gators participating. We are also planning to erect our tent and display our team banner. If you are not racing, but are available to attend and cheer on your teammates, please join us. The event takes place at close by Lake Nockamixon with the first wave in the water at 7:15am. It’s a sprint distance, so the entire event should be wrapped up by 9:30am. Also, it’s a good opportunity to get in some post-race training for other events taking place later in the summer at Lake Nockamixon such as Steelman and Quakerman. If you are planning to attend, please let us know and be sure to wear any Gator gear that you have.
