Yesterday I reported that according to the Mobile paper, the oil slick hopefully will not come ashore here in AL. Today's report is not quite so good, unfortunately. AL has a very short amount of coastline so it has tried to protect it, but the slick has already now come ashore in LA. Extra offices have been opened already in LA to enroll the out of work fishermen for compensation. The future looks grim for many now...so stay put for awhile! I'll keep posting as I see changes.
