This public forum invites you to explore the delegation’s experiences and discoveries from their journey. Presenting will be artist/organizer Anida Yoeu Ali(one of this year's winners of the Amocat Award ), Councilmember Jamika Scott, Dion Thomas from Broadway Gallery, and writer/storyteller Jesi Vega. The delegates will share observations on how Jogja and Jakarta’s art scenes continue to flourish and grow despite challenging economic conditions. Audiences can learn about innovative strategies that could invigorate Tacoma’s artistic landscape and hear about the meaningful connections we forged during this enriching cultural exchange.
