battery charger hook up

This past week we did a rewire of my electrical system.  I have a  Heart 2500
inverter charger it is wired to charge my house bank of 6 Rolls  golf cart
batteries.  I have a 100 amp alternator off my single Ford Lehman  120 HP wired
to a shunt then to a three way isolator.  One leg goes to the  house bank
another to the engine start bank and the third to the generator start  battery.
During the rewire we put all, except the house bank  leg, through two 1/2/both
switches.  When both are set to 1, I start  the main off the start bank and
the gen off the gen start.  If I turn  them to both to 2, I start everything off
the house bank.
I have wired the house bank through a 150 amp breaker to the panel  with new
1/0 wire (much heavier than the old #8 three strand copper that  previously
fed the panel).
I have another 35 amp charger that was disconnected when I did all this
wiring.  Where do I hook it up in the system? Sorry if this sounds  confusing.  I
am probably as confused as the old Taiwanese guy that  originally wired the
boat.

George,
Your Heart 2500 inverter contains a 130A smart charger which will charge the
house bank admirably.  The battery isolator will prevent this charger from
charging the Start or Genset batteries if wired as you described it, unless
you set the battery switches to the Both position..  So wire the charging
outputs of the 35A charger (it has at least 2 outputs?) to the Start and
Genset batteries.

Alternately, you could replace the battery isolator with a battery combiner
as I prefer, which would allow the Inv/Chg to charge all three battery
banks.  Then just keep the 35A charger for backup in case the Heart goes
T/U.
