My Weaver davit "plates" on my inflatable are rubber pads which were
glued on. Surely, you are not going to try and reglue those to an
aluminum boat. Weaver does have hardware for such an installation. I
would contact Weaver Industries before trying to glue on the ones
designed for an inflatable.

OK so I took my Weaver Davit connector plates off my rubber Achilles
and
would like to attach them to my aluminum john boat. The question I
have is
how to attach them to the side of my aluminum boat. I have
considered both
using 2 part west system epoxy or maybe 5200.
What do you guys think?
