I am currently having my Cruiser 3370 repaired from hurricane damage and am
also involved in building a 43 trawler SUSIEQ. I am at a point of needing to
put in stuffing boxes and would like to know what brands and type i should go
with.  I prefer to have the knew "dry" boxes but understand that not all
brands stay dry.  If  these new ones do not work what kind of good old
reliable ones should I get, and what kind of packing stays the driest.  Thanks
for any info.

Hi y'all
There is a plastic goop which is available from West, which partially
replaces the flax and is said to be just about dripless.
