The simplest way to flush an engine is to turn off the thruhull, open
the top of the raw water filter and just stick a garden hose in it. Turn
the water on part way, it will fill the filter and overflow in the
bilge.
Start the engine at an idle, the overflow will stop and the engine will
flush.
Stop the engine after a few minutes, turn off the hose, remove it and
replace the cap.
No special caps or tee's needed and the system isn't pressurized which
could pop a hose or pass water around the impeller back filling the
exhaust.
