My wife and I currently own a 1997 Searay Sundancer and have just had an offer accepted for the purchase of a 42' 1982 Kha Shing Sundeck. Trawler style, semi-displacement with twin diesel Volvo Penta (148 hp) engines. I have two questions the list may be able to help me with. First, any information about this type of vessel and engines would be appreciated. More importantly, any recommendations for a top flight marine surveyor for both engines and hull would be of great assistance. We are looking forward to getting plugged in once again to discussions about boating and boaters...all in all our favorite subjects!
