Hi all you winter listers.

Today Stan Bajurny and I found a male Pine Warbler at the parking area
across the road from the Old Cut Woods entrance and also spotted a juvenile
Red-shouldered Hawk landing in a tree just north of the same parking lot. We
drove around onto the main road and had great looks at the hawk only 100
yards from us.

Before heading to the Long Point area we stopped at Pier 26 in Burlington
to see if we too could spot the Northern Gannet. We stopped and dug out our
binoculars and within 5 minutes spotted the Gannet across the bay in the fog
as it flew around. This was at 8:12 am if someone is comparing the times
with the sighting of  the bird spotted off Spencer Smith Park.
