Courtesy of Rachel Farrel from her RI bird reports:
"I have a report of a SNOWY OWL seen at Napatree Point (RI), Monday morning. It was discreetly watched from a long distance so that it wasn't flushed. The owl eventually flew off to Sandy Point Island. This may be the same owl that was seen on the Napatree CBC."
Sandy Point Island is about 2/3 in CT and 1/3 in RI. Anyone, feel free to chime in with the exact boundaries if you know them. Sometimes Snowy Owls in that area will wander back and forth across the border - prefering Napatree Point but being flushed to Connecticut. The very white bird found on Napatree by Paul L'Etoile during the Napatree CBC was chased by a Peregrine all the way to Pawcatuck (CT), but was only visible from Napatree Point that afternoon.

I don't know the area at all, but Google Maps pretty much agrees with Bing Maps.
