We are considering installing hydraulic davits on our 2002 Monk 36 trawler.  Does anyone have experience with the Freedom Lift product?

No direct experience with the Freedom lifts, but I just perused their
website and it gives me cause for concern.  Most of the lift mechanism is
made from 6061-T6 aluminum.  Fasteners are 316 sst.  And most of the
mechanism is submerged or wetted in saltwater most of the time, along with
the hydraulic cylinders.  I'd want a very long  and strong corrosion
warranty.  Perhaps these lifts are intended for freshwater use only?
