What ALL of you Time Nuts really wants for Christmas!

I just couldn't stand it any longer; so I bought myself a long-awaited prize
that no true Time Nut can possibly be without..the original Stonehenge
Pocket Watch.

This is truly the best thing I ever got to show my illiterate friends
(type-casts most all of them so I can feel superior.you know the feeling).

http://www.stonehengewatch.com/  it is cheap and looks cool; I carry it
everywhere and never miss a chance to flip it open, set it up and align it
with the sun to get both time AND season (can your watch do that???) Well
mine can and I never miss an opportunity to feel above-the-crowd for a few
nanoseconds until you all get YOURS.

So go forth and multiply; tell the spouse (kids, grandkids..whatever) that
this is exactly what you can't-live-without for Christmas (Hannukah,
Quanzaa, whatever...) you get the idea. Sure beats the hell out of one more
ugly tie!

With it you can also align that pesky Rubidium standard that always seems
off just a tad.(let us all know where the 10 MHz output port is.I am still
looking).

I didn't think Stonehenge told 'time' ala a sundial.

Its' purpose was to herald the seasons' change, etc, I thought.

Ah, so you think this is more of a "calendar-nut" item than a "time-nut"..

What about a iPhone App? Orient the device using the built in magnetic
sensor, use the front facing camera to detect the sun, display
stonehenge in the proper orientation, etc.

But should you compensate the trilithon positions for the GPS measured
latitude?

While it is brilliant, how do you expect it to work on Mars?

Cheers,

I'm considering a spectrum analyser with my pension "lump sum" cash:

http://www.rigolna.com/products/spectrum-analyzers/dsa800/dsa815/

and perhaps an iPad Air:

http://www.apple.com/uk/ipad-air/

More frequency than time, sorry!

I've got one David and for the price they do a reasonable job... I would
strongly suggest that for an extra $ 200 you get the TG model ( DSA815TG )
that has the built in tracking generator.. I pretty much use mine for radio
work and I would be lost without the tracking generator now...
Cheers,
Rob.

Agreed, the TG option is a must.

I don't have the room (or the weight-lifting strength) for one of the HP
models you could likely get for the same money.  <G>.
