Google Earth has update the overhead photos of the location where the
Nordhavn went aground. The boat is quite visible as a 62' footer, lying
on it's side. It is within about 10 feet of the location that I posted
several years ago, before the picture was updated in October 2009.
It is hard to see any clear detail of the boat, but it is obviously a
62. It appears to have rolled over on it's port side since I
photographed it in 2007 and posted the video on youtube.
There is submerged barge about 4.3 miles southeast of the Nordhavn,
visible just 100 yards or so out from the surf line.
Paste this in Google Earth for the location.
