Visitors:
John Winebrenner and Lisa Silvey from Indiana, Chad and Chris Saladin from
Ohio, Ralph Billingsley from Essex and several others from Ontario and
Michigan visited today.
Weather:
Temperature started out at 8.8 and rose to 15.9 degrees by 2 p.m. 8-18 km/h
winds were from the north all day. Mostly sunny morning with increasing
cloudiness during the afternoon
Raptor Observations:
10 species of raptors today numbering over 1,600 total. We had the best Red
Tail day so far this season with 55 individuals.
Non-raptor Observations:
Blue Jays outnumbered all other species today with a total of 15,600
counted. One Common and one Caspian Tern flew by the tower.
Predictions:
Tomorrow morning could be good as winds will remain favorable. There is a
60% chance of rain in the afternoon.
