NCL Board Meeting Oct. 6 at the Hall of the States

NCL Board Members,

I have scheduled our Oct. 6th boarding meeting here at the Hall of the States, Room 385. As a reminder, this in-person meeting of the board will take place between 2pm-5ishpm. I’ll try to arrange for people who can’t make it here next week to participate by phone. Please confirm your attendance at your earliest convenience.

Please be sure to bring your driver’s license or similar ID with you — you’ll need that to check in at the security desk in the lobby. Feel free to come early and arrange for a tour of FOX News' Washington Bureau while you’re here… they’re on the first floor.

Please send me suggested agenda items if you have them. We know we’ll be talking about a board member slate to present at our member meeting, our budget, and we’ll want to plan how we will facilitate the plan-for-the-year discussion with the members. I know we’ve talked about making a bigger and more strategic push on AEFL week in 2016, so I expect that is what we will be wanting to discuss with our members. (I reckon we’ll want to report out on 2015 AEFL week activities as well.) We’ll also need to discuss whether we want to seek sponsors for a 2016 awards event.

This will be the final board meeting for some of you — thank you again for making this a successful year and for helping us line things up for next year’s board.

I’m really sorry about this, but would it be possible for us to shift our meeting start tomorrow to 3pm  instead of 2pm? I promise I will still get us out of here as close to 5 as possible.

PLEASE let me know ASAP if this presents a problem. if so, I’ll figure out an alternative.

Also, is anyone planning to call in tomorrow?

I heard no objections so it’s OFFICIAL. Moving our start time for the board meeting tomorrow to 3pm.

Thanks for your patience. I know it’s confusing to move the time at this late date.

If you are coming from out of town and get here early, feel free to head to room 385 if you want to use it. The room should be open.

Don’t forget you need an ID to get into the building.
