THIS WEEK IN TRI CLUB (December 20-26), GFC WEEK 11 ROLL CALL, and It's "3
minute Plank Week"!

Great news!  In case you haven't noticed, it's already staying light
outside longer!  In fact today's sunset is 3 minutes later than it was just
13 days ago.  Winter officially starts tomorrow and that is our shortest
day of the year with 9 hours, 21 minutes, and 39 seconds of daylight... But
after that our days will get longer all the way until June 20 when we hit
our peak at 15 hours, 5 minutes, and 20 seconds with a sunset at 8:37pm.

So it's a great time to begin thinking about 2022!  With that in mind, in
case you did not catch the post last night, we have launched a short 10
question, won't take longer than 5 minutes to complete, survey and are
asking each Gator to provide their input to assist our new group of
officers by letting us know what is going well, what we could be doing
better, and any ideas you have.  And we'd also like to get an idea of who
has which events planned for 2022, so there are a couple of questions on
that topic as well.

The survey will be open until the end of December, so if you have not
already done so, please take a few minutes to provide your input... In

GFC Roll Call!... This week's Gator Fitness Challenge "Roll Call" covers
week 11 (December 13-19) that ended yesterday... Only 2 weeks to go! If you
completed any of the three challenges, please post a comment...

• "SBR" if you completed the Swim/Bike/Run Challenge (30 minutes of each)
AND/OR...

• "SCF" if you completed the Strength/Core/Flexibility Challenge (30
minutes total of any combination) AND/OR...

• "Plank" if you completed the progressive Plank Challenge that started in
week 1 at 15 seconds then has increased 15 seconds each week and last
week's plank was 2 minutes and 45 seconds

• "All 3" if you were a week 11 superstar and completed all 3 challenges!

And this week is "3 Minute Plank Week"!  Whether or not you've been
completing each week's progressive plank challenge or not... Who is up for
the 3 Minute Plank challenge??  It's all about getting us ready for next
week's monster 5 minute plank!

• Wednesday 12/22, 7:30pm-8:30pm: Zwift cycling meetup... Join us for our
weekly club ride! This time we're riding the 10.4 mile "2015 UCI Worlds
Course" in Richmond, VA!  If you are following Don Mack in Zwift, you are
already invited.  If you are on Zwift and are not following Don, but would
like to participate, post a comment and we'll get that resolved.
