CSM (chop strand mat) does not work with epoxy. Woven cloth or Dynell is
easy to use with epoxy. A good epoxy paint is hard to beat. I have used
light fiberglass cloth and epoxy garage floor paint with good results. Be
aware that a waterproof coating can also hold in moisture, causing rot. Any
epoxy will need a top coat of some sort, although the floor coatings do have
decent UV resistance.  Epoxy floor coatings are self leveling on flat
horizontal surfaces so if used on vertical surfaces you will need to add
enough thicksotrophic (fumed silica, Cabosil, etc..) to keep it from sagging
and migrating.
