To Cruising Fleet Racers - This weekend is the Labor Day Regatta. To be honest, the weather forecast is pretty bad for Sunday because of the remnants of Harvey. Rain and wind. But the forecast for tomorrow (Saturday) is east-northeast winds at 5 - 10 mph. That should work for a couple of good races. The gorgeous days on the River are going fast so let's make them all count. John Michael is racing for the first time since his surgery, so we're hoping he's going to be easy to beat. Come enjoy the day with the rest of us sailing around some marks on the Hudson River. I've put together a new team of "The Four Grandmothers" and we want to race - Ellen Miret, Renae Leeming, Sharon Davis and myself. Easy pickings if you want a trophy, but we need three boats!
