Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end  time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter:        Chris Burris

Observers:        Ken Wootton

Visitors:
A few today.

Weather:
A bit of everything today: sun, overcast, flurries. The wind remained
rather steady NW throughout the observation period. Temp rose from -1C to
4C.

Raptor Observations:
Not huge overall numbers today, but we probably missed many, as the flight
line was scattered from lake side to well north of Dexter Line and kept
shifting. Still, we welcomed 13 Golden Eagles; most were subadults and many
were low over the trees. A bulky American Goshawk, near the size of the
Red-tailed it took a swipe at, darted low and quick over the trees to our
south; a Short-eared Owl heading north was a late afternoon surprise. Full
eBird list is here: https://ebird.org/checklist/S153557405

Non-raptor Observations:

Predictions:
Winds are predicted to be stiff SW, so a much smaller flight is expected.
