We just completed the Rideau today, and are in Kingston at the Portsmouth
Harbor Marina.

While a lot of work getting through the upper section,  the lower section
from Smith Falls to Kingston is magical.  The portion from Ottawa after the
great Ottawa flight and a city visit is to be endured to get to the lower
section.  The early start of the Quebec invasion has begun.  The northern
portion was very crowded with less the further south we travelled.  The
Channels are extremely well marked so navigation is easy, albeit narrow in
some places.

There are several changes (not reflected in Skipper Bob's yet) that should
be noted with regard to canal resources added and or great information that
is available on the following web site.

Hope you all enjoy the opportunity to travel it. :-)
