Fair weather, especially after the last several cold, rainy days. We had a total of 15 boats racing, in three divisions: Spinnaker, Non-Spinnaker,, Open.

We sailed Course 19, with the wind mostly from the west at 5-8 kts. and the current running north the entire race. It was slow going. With the objective of finishing with some daylight left, the RC announced a course change: all divisions to make for the finish after rounding the 2nd mark (Race Mark C).

The Non-Spinnaker and Open fleets had quite a crowd at the first mark (Race Mark B), and all fleets converged at Mark C and the finish. A few close finishes on corrected time -- only 3 secs between #1 and #2 Non-Spinnaker, and 23 secs between #2 and #3 Spinnaker.

Thanks to the RC for our second 2019 Wednesday (Rinehart, Azar, Leonard), and also to Launch Captain Feldberg still on a Tin Boat. We had the Galley open for the first time this season for Wednesday Night Racing -- thanks to the Galley staff for slaking our thirst and feeding us!

There you'll also find the standings in Wednesday Night Series, for the Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker divisions, after 2 races.
