Hello,

My name is Rebecca Lambert and my partner and I produce a storytelling show
called Bar Stories Live On Stage. We have expanded the show to Tacoma
starting in February.

The show aims to promote more equitable access to the storytelling
community in Washington in a number of ways. The show will always be free
to storytellers and attendees. There are multiple ways to participate that
support both established and emerging tellers.Unlike other storytelling
shows, we welcome stories in all stages of development.

Everyone who tells a story on stage will receive free, professionally
edited video of their performance to use as they wish. They will also
retain all artistic rights to the content.

We are fiscally sponsored by Shunpike and actively raising funds to expand
to more communities in Washington. Additionally, we are expanding to bring
the show to senior communities in hopes of preserving and passing on
stories of this group's lived experience.

You can find out more about our project on our website, barstories.org.
There are links to our YouTube http://youtubecom/barstoriesliveonstage
channel where you can see examples of the stories we have gathered in the
last year and a half in Seattle.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

Best,
Rebecca Lambert (she/her/hers)
