http://www.grandcinema.com/tacoma-film-camp/ Tacoma Film Camp, hosted
annually by The Grand Cinema in the months of July and August, teaches
students the mechanics of storytelling through the art of film. Registration
for younger learners and returning campers is now full, but one special
session during the week of July 20th to July 24th will offer students ages
15 to 20 access to celebrity mentors during their week of learning.

Academy Award winning producer, Damon Russell
http://curfewfilm.com/about/cast-crew/damon-russell/ , and
writer/producer,
http://filmmakermagazine.com/people/rola-nashef/#.VYrWyPlViko Rola Nahsef
will work side by side with students providing creative guidance,
professional feedback and inspiration on each group's film project. Both
Russell and Nahsef were formerly featured in The Grand's 25 New Faces of
Independent Film, a festival which celebrates the work of burgeoning
filmmakers and producers honored by Filmmaker Magazine.

The cost of film camp includes use of film recording equipment and editing
software, daily classes from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and an in-theater
screening of all the film projects created throughout the week on one of The
Grand's big screens at the end of the week (with a pizza party). A limited
number of full tuition scholarships are still available thanks to the
generous donation of a dedicated supporter of The Grand. For more
information, registration details, and to find the scholarship application
form please visit our  http://www.grandcinema.com/tacoma-film-camp/
website.

Registration for Tacoma Film Camp 2015 is open now and available at The
Grand's Box Office (606 S Fawcett Ave, Tacoma 98402), or online at
