I birded LHPP today to celebrate the holiday.  New Haven Public Schools were off today.  I had two Caspian Terns on the beach among the gulls.  The most number of birds were Eastern Phoebes, Golden-crowned Kinglets, and Yellow-rumped Warblers.  A Common Yellowthroat, a Towhee, two Carolina Wrens, and some White-throat Sparrows round off the list. All-in-all it was pretty quite.
