PHOTOGRAPHING AUBURN

Calling all local photographers!

The Auburn Avenue Theater is proud to host a special exhibition taking a
photographic look at the people and places of Auburn.  This is not a
juried exhibition, but acceptance will be limited to space available.

Guidelines

Photographing Auburn is open to all professional and amateur
photographers.  Artists may submit one framed and wired photograph, but
the subject matter must be taken of or within Auburn.  Image size is
limited to the maximum of 24" x 24"

Artwork must be:

  • Original
  • Suitably and sturdily framed (use picture wire for hanging, no
    string nor clamp plastic or glass frames.
  • No subject matter that can be considered lewd or inappropriate
    for public audiences

Registration

Artwork must be dropped off Thursday, September 3 at 1 pm - 3 pm at
Auburn Avenue Theater, 10 Auburn Avenue, Auburn WA.  Artists will be
notified the following day if their artwork is unable to be displayed
due to space limitations.  Approximately 35 artworks will be displayed.
Artwork pick-up will be on Thursday, October 29 at 1 pm - 3 pm. Artwork
labels and artwork loan agreement must be completed at time of
submission and include the following information:  name, address, phone,
email, title, medium, price, and dimensions.

Exhibition Dates and Hours
The exhibition will be on view September 4 - October 28.  Gallery hours
are based upon building activity.
